TRASHBID

Opening soon. Take a look around—auctions and wallet connections will open at launch.

BEGINNER'S GUIDE

How Trashbid works

Trashbid is a live bidding game. One digital “Thing” is placed in a live auction called a Burn. People bid using $TRSH, and the Burn can end at any moment.

The highest bid that can be successfully paid wins. There are no physical products. The Things are memes and digital records that only exist inside Trashbid.

BEFORE YOU START

What you need

  • A supported Solana wallet, such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack.
  • Some $TRSH in the connected wallet.
  • A small amount of SOL for Solana network fees when you set, change or remove your bidding power.

You do not need an email address, password or traditional Trashbid account. Your wallet is your identity.

1

Browse without connecting

You can explore Trashbid without connecting a wallet.

You can:

  • View the live Burn.
  • See the current bid.
  • See the leading bidder.
  • Watch recent bids and Chatojis.
  • View upcoming and previous Burns.

You only need to connect a wallet when you want to bid or view information connected to your wallet.

2

Connect your wallet

Select Connect wallet and choose your Solana wallet.

Your wallet will ask you to sign a message. This proves that the wallet belongs to you.

Connecting your wallet:

  • Does not move your $TRSH.
  • Does not give Trashbid permission to spend your tokens.
  • Does not cost SOL.
  • Does not reveal your recovery phrase.

Trashbid will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key.

After you sign, Trashbid creates a secure bidding session in your browser. The session lasts for 24 hours and can be used across more than one Burn.

This is why you do not need to approve a wallet popup every time you place a bid.

3

Set your bidding power

Before you can bid, you need to set your bidding power.

Bidding power is the maximum amount of your $TRSH that Trashbid may use to settle a winning bid.

EXAMPLE

  • Your wallet contains 1,000,000 $TRSH.
  • You set your bidding power to 500,000 $TRSH.
  • Trashbid cannot settle a winning bid for more than 500,000 $TRSH.

Setting bidding power is not a deposit.

Your tokens stay inside your wallet. Trashbid does not hold them while you bid.

Your wallet will ask you to approve a Solana transaction when you set, change or remove your bidding power. A small Solana network fee will apply.

You can change or revoke your bidding power from Manage bidding power.

Important: Disconnecting your wallet from Trashbid does not remove your bidding power. Use Revoke bidding power if you want to remove the permission completely.

4

Place a bid

The live Burn shows the available bid amounts.

Choose an amount and select the main bid button.

Once Trashbid accepts your bid:

  • It appears in the live activity feed.
  • The current bid and leading bidder update.
  • No additional wallet popup is needed.
  • No SOL network fee is charged for that individual bid.

A submitted bid cannot be cancelled.

If several people bid at almost the same time, someone else may be accepted first. Trashbid will refresh the available amounts so you can try again.

5

Watch the candle

There is no countdown.

The candle can go out at any moment. Its exact ending time is kept private.

The candle animation does not show how much time is left.

Once the Burn closes, no more bids can be accepted.

This means waiting until the last moment is risky.

6

If someone outbids you

If you are the leading bidder and someone places a higher bid, Trashbid shows an outbid notification.

You can select Bid again to return to the bidding controls.

Outbid sound

Trashbid also plays an outbid sound when your browser allows it.

On desktop, the sound can play while you are viewing another browser tab, as long as:

  • The Trashbid tab remains open.
  • You have interacted with the Trashbid page.
  • Your browser allows sound.

Your browser may block or delay sound in some situations.

Mobile browsers often pause websites that are in the background. Because of this, background sound cannot be guaranteed on mobile. When you return to Trashbid, the outbid notice will still be shown if it is relevant.

Do not rely only on the sound when deciding whether to place another bid.

7

Send a Chatoji

Chatojis are short, preset reactions that appear in the live activity feed.

You can send a Chatoji after you have placed an accepted bid in the current Burn.

Chatojis:

  • Are only available to bidders.
  • Use preset messages—there is no free-text chat.
  • Can be sent once every four seconds.
  • Use the latest bid, leader and minimum-bid information when sent.
  • May change depending on whether you are leading or challenging the leader.

If you are already the leading bidder, you cannot send a message that talks to or challenges the leading bidder.

The Claim it Chatoji category is only a set of fun reactions. It is not a request to claim, order or receive a physical item.

8

How the winner is chosen

When the candle goes out, Trashbid tries to settle the highest bid.

To settle a bid means collecting the winning amount and completing the Burn.

The bidder must still have:

  • Enough $TRSH in the connected wallet.
  • Enough bidding power for the bid.
  • A valid token permission that has not been removed.

If the highest bid cannot be settled, Trashbid tries the next-highest bid.

The highest bid that can be successfully settledwins.

A visible leading bidder is not guaranteed to become the final winner if their wallet can no longer pay the bid.

9 · IF YOU WIN

What happens if you win

  • The winning amount of $TRSH is transferred from your wallet.
  • The Burn creates an official Trashbid ownership record.
  • The Thing appears in your Collection.
  • Your remaining bidding power is updated.
  • You can view and share your result.

You do not need to manually claim, order or request the Thing.

Only the winning amount is transferred. Trashbid cannot take more than the bidding power you approved.

10 · IF YOU LOSE

What happens if you lose

  • No $TRSH is taken for your losing bid.
  • Your tokens remain in your wallet.
  • The Burn appears in My bids after it closes.
  • You can see your highest bid and the final winning bid.
  • You can share your result if you want.

Trashbid does not lock or hold your $TRSH while you are bidding.

YOUR ACTIVITY

Collection and My bids

Collection

Your Collection contains the Things won by your connected wallet.

A Thing will only appear when that wallet has successfully won and settled a Burn.

My bids

My bids shows the closed Burns in which your connected wallet participated. It includes Burns you won and Burns you lost.

Connect the same wallet you used for bidding to view these pages.

WALLET CONTROL

Managing your wallet connection

Disconnect wallet

This ends the Trashbid session on your current browser. It does not remove the bidding power you previously approved.

Revoke bidding power

This removes Trashbid’s token permission. Existing bids remain part of the Burn history. However, a bid may no longer be able to win if it cannot be settled after you revoke or reduce your bidding power.

Moving your $TRSH

Your $TRSH is not locked. You can move it at any time. However, if you no longer have enough $TRSH when the Burn closes, your bid may be skipped and another bidder may win.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

What you are bidding on

Trashbid Things are digital, platform-specific collectibles created for entertainment and meme purposes.

They are not physical products. They cannot be ordered, shipped or delivered.

Winning a Burn does not give you:

  • A physical item.
  • Ownership of a real-world object.
  • Intellectual property rights.
  • A financial interest in Trashbid.
  • A partnership or other relationship with the Trashbid team.
  • Special access, status, rewards or privileges.
  • Any promised financial value or practical use.

Trashbid ownership only exists within the Trashbid ecosystem. There is no marketplace for transferring or reselling Things.

Access to a Thing depends on the continued availability and correct operation of Trashbid. Technical failures, data loss, account-access problems, changes to the service or the shutdown of Trashbid could make a Thing unavailable or permanently lost.

Nothing in this notice limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Simple answers

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no email and password signup. Your connected wallet is your identity.

Can I browse without a wallet?

Yes. You only need a wallet when you want to bid or view wallet-specific information.

Does connecting my wallet move my tokens?

No. Connecting only proves that the wallet belongs to you.

Is bidding power a deposit?

No. Your $TRSH stays in your wallet. Bidding power is a limit on what may be collected if you win.

Do I pay every time I bid?

No. Individual bids do not require a wallet popup or SOL network fee. You only pay a small Solana network fee when you set, change or revoke bidding power.

Do losing bids cost anything?

No $TRSH is taken for a losing bid.

Can I cancel a bid?

No. Once a bid is accepted, it remains part of that Burn.

Why did the available bid amount suddenly change?

Another person may have placed a bid just before you. Trashbid will update the available amounts so you can try again.

Why did the visible leader not win?

The leading wallet may not have had enough $TRSH or bidding power when the Burn closed. Trashbid then tries the next-highest bid that can be paid.

Can I sell or transfer a Thing?

No. Trashbid does not currently provide a marketplace or transfer system for Things, but the team may consider making this available after reaching a certain scale.

Will I receive something in the mail?

No. Trashbid Things are not physical products and are not shipped.

Is a Thing an investment?

No. A Thing has no promised monetary value, return or future benefit.

Can I rely on the outbid sound?

No. It is a helpful alert, but browsers may block or delay sound. This is especially common when a mobile browser is in the background.

What happens if Trashbid closes?

The ownership record and the Thing may become unavailable. Trashbid does not promise that the service or its records will exist forever.
